CMS
CMS is short for Content Management System. This is an installed software platform that lays on top of your hosting site to provide functionality out of the box. WordPress currently holds the top spot as leading Content Management System, with other strong contenders including Drupal and Joomla. There are also crossovers between Shopping Cart platforms and CMS platforms like PrestaShop, Magento and more. CMS has become a widely accepted means of shortcutting the development process. No longer does a site owner have to pay for development of standard functionality since it comes out of the box with most Content Management Systems.
Cold List
Individuals who may have expressed interest in your product or service, but who have not expressly opted in or subscribed to your list. Domain Name
It is really important to pick a domain name that is relevant to what you are doing with your site whether it is selling products and services or it is simply a branding engine. Your domain name is your name on the Internet and making it relevant to what you do will help you get seen. If you need help or have questions about choosing a name that is right for you, be sure to contact us. Interesting fact, when you go to a website, you are not really going to domain.com. What you are really doing is going to the site specific IP address of a server. When DARPA came out with the Internet, machines reached each other by going to a numeric value assigned to a specific machine. This is known as an IP (Internet Protocol) address. This was not very user friendly, so early Internet adopters came up with a way to translate the IP address to a name. This is known as DNS (Domain Name System).
Enterprise Business
Enterprise class business is loosely defined as a business that has at least 1,000 employees and annual revenue exceeding 1 billion.
Free Website Template
When you go to a site, that site will typically have pages installed which is just a bunch of code that the machine translates into what you see. It used to be that a developer had to write code for each of these pages. Not anymore (except for custom sites and functionality). Now you can choose from templates that include many of the pages you may need for your site. There are a lot of Free Website Templates out there which is great news, but be careful to pick one that has all the features and functions you need or you could end up spending more on that free template than if you would have purchased a Premium Template. If you have questions about Free Templates vs Premium Templates, be sure to contact us or you can chat with a representative who will be happy to answer your questions.
Holistic SEO
This term describes a 360 degree view of the SEO process. What that means is that SEO is not just about ranking and optimization. It is about driving campaigns and social media as SEO tools to generate site importance as a method to increase rank and visibility and ultimately, traffic. To do this you need an agency that provides the entire range of digital marketing tools and services, not just SEO or some other subset.

Network Security
Network security refers to any activity designed to protect the usability and integrity of your network and data. It includes both hardware and software technologies. Effective network security manages access to the network. It targets a variety of threats and stops them from entering or spreading on your network
Premium Website Template
These are exactly what they sound like, Premium Website Templates. Free templates usually come with pages that are quickly designed and have fewer features. Or, when a template does not sell well, the developer will mark it free to generate traffic for paid or premium templates. What is the real difference between the two? Premium Website Templates typically have more hours spent in creating features and pages which saves countless hours of development once a template is installed. It is very common for a Premium Website Template to cost less to deploy than the Free Template you downloaded. There is nothing wrong with the Free Template, just make sure it has the features and pages you need before you take the time to install it yourself or pay money to have someone do it for you. If you want to know more about Premium Website Templates vs Free Templates, just chat with one of our representatives. They will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

SMB
SMB is an acronym that refers to the size of a business. Classified as Small and Midsize Business or Small to Medium Business, this category is typically measured in number of employees and annual revenue.
